Monthly Giving Program

Each year, St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center must raise funds in order to cover the continuous costs of our wide variety of programs. These costs include art supplies, pool supplies for our Aquatic Center, gardening tools, and much more.
By joining SMSC Monthly Giving Partners, you are able to donate monthly to the program of your choice.
By becoming a Monthly Giving Partner, you are joining an exclusive club. Monthly gifts provide consistent, reliable support and a convenient and efficient way for you to support the students and programs of SMSC. You can make your monthly payment by check or automatic payments by credit/debit card. Upon joining with your first monthly gift of $10.00 or more, you’ll receive a piece of art created by one of our students.
Monthly giving is easy and every gift, however large or small, helps students at SMSC.

Q: How long have you been volunteering at St Madeleine Sophie’s Center?

A: My first volunteer assignment was to help with the annual holiday party this past December (2018).  What a fun experience!  The event was great fun with activities, treats and festive and delicious holiday lunch and even a visit from the Chick-fil-A cow and Santa!

Q: Why did you decide to become a volunteer?

A: I like that the volunteer opportunities are varied.  I can help with students and also on the event and fundraising side.  St. Madeleine’s is highly regarded and a San Diego treasure.

Q: What is your favorite thing about volunteering at SMSC?

A: It is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference.  Just a few hours a week assisting the staff and students at SMSC can make a difference. I’ve enjoyed conversations with many of the students.  It’s wonderful to learn more about their interests.  I look forward to spending more time and getting to know the students and the devoted staff.
