How long have you been working at St Madeleine Sophie’s Center?

Almost 21 years

 

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Staying at home in Mexico, spending time with my dogs, working out with my husband, eating good food and drinking good wine

 

What’s your favorite TV show, music artist, or book?

I enjoy binge watching Netflix, Bruno Mars, classical music and reading trilogies

 

Do you have a cool story to share about something you did or that happened to you?

I moved to Baja 30 years ago the day after I was married. I commute 3 hours a day so that I can do the work that I love.

 

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

I’d like to take a motor home trip around the US to visit the national parks and fill up my national park passport. I also love traveling in other parts of Mexico

A friend of mine was working with Debra to figure out how best to utilize the pool. He referred me

What is your favorite thing about working at SMSC?

Working with the students and watching them learn new skills. Teaching the staff

 

What advice would you give to new SMSC staff?

Have patience and enjoy each day here because you are making a positive difference in other people’s lives.
