Q: Why did you decide to become a volunteer?
A: I like that the volunteer opportunities are varied. I can help with students and also on the event and fundraising side. St. Madeleine’s is highly regarded and a San Diego treasure.
Q: What is your favorite thing about volunteering at SMSC?
A: It is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference. Just a few hours a week assisting the staff and students at SMSC can make a difference. I’ve enjoyed conversations with many of the students. It’s wonderful to learn more about their interests. I look forward to spending more time and getting to know the students and the devoted staff.
