SMS Auxiliary - Service with a Heart Established in 1966 with one classroom, St. Madeleine Sophie's Center grew out of the vision of a group of dedicated individuals and the members of the Religious Society of the Sacred Heart. The Auxiliary was formed a year later to assist in financial support by establishing formal fundraising efforts. In 1970, ground was broken for a new classroom building funded by Mr. Peter Ferrantelli, Sr. and the efforts of the Auxiliary. The Center's vital work continues today with the ongoing support of the Auxiliary in securing funding for new buildings and equipment. If you are interested in helping the Auxiliary or would like to become a member please contact Susie Halstead at 4suzy@cox.net.
With your help, the Auxiliary will continue to benefit adults with developmental disabilities who attend St. Madeleine Sophie's Center. The Auxiliary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
